UVHS Training 28/9/2011

UVHS training took place at the Bouth Big Field – a lovely rough (brackenish) open area with detailed contour information.

UVHS Training 21/9/2011

Our new plan with the older orienteers at UVHS is to have some race training for the very keen athletes and some ordinary orienteering for those who aren’t so keen but like to get out in the forest.  Technical training will be available on Saturday mornings for those that want it. Read more

First day back and coaching the Yr 10/11/12/13s.

West Cumberland Coaching #3

The final day of coaching for WCOC happened in atrocious conditions in Miterdale, nr Eskdale Green.  After having a walk round the area the previous Thursday in glorious sunshine, we got torrential rain for the whole time.  Despite this, the paper maps held up quite well. Read more
