Dynamic stretching for warm-up

The only one I would criticise is the butt flicks where I would bring the knee further up so that the heel flicks the butt going upwards. Read more

Running technique videos

One of my interests is how to coach running technique.  I came across these two videos:

They seem to take information from a range of running models, including Chi running. 

There are a number of tips in the clips, but the key ones for me are 1) lean forward from the ankles 2) have your feet land on the midfoot and under your centre of gravity 3) use a high cadence (180 strides per minute) 4) increase your “stride angle” by increasing flexibility. Read more
