I found watching the replay of the live GPS tracking very interesting. The accuracy isn’t great, but it gives a flavour of what the Elite Men and Women get up to when they are running.
It is rather reassuring to see that even the best make mistakes – just not very many.

Watching them, it is interesting to watch what happens when they catch up with each other. How must it feel to be near the front of such a race, but to be caught and make mistakes? What mental tactics can you use to ignore something like that?
