Stretching and Massage Session by Sue Read
Sue Read came to give a session on stretching and massage to the Broughton Ladies running group and I was invited along too.

Tuesday Running Club 10/5/11
18 Kids and 5 adult helpers.
20″ run along railway to warm up, then Bum Squeeze, High Knee and Carioca drills. 2 accelerations to finish warm up.
Split into pairs, fastest with slowest. 3 x 3 Parlauf with one ~400m leg, one ~150m leg. Read more

Core and drills session by Sam Ayers
I was lucky enough to be invited to join Broughton’s Ladies running group for a session from Sam Ayers. She is an England Athletics “flying coach” and L3 Endurance coach.
This was one of the best coach education, and coaching sessions I have been to and I hope that she can do more for us. Read more

Schools Coaching Day Fell Foot
Spent the day trying to get primary school kids to fold, thumb and orientate the map, while they were doing a range of courses at Fell Foot Park.
